MENLO PARK, July 12, 2006 (PodTech News) – Microsoft is holding a conference in Boston this week, the Worldwide Partner Conference 2006, for its over 7,000 vendor partners. David Wascha, Microsoft’s Director of Partner Marketing for Windows Client, spoke with PodTech News about the conference, and the much-delayed Windows Vista operating system. “The sentiment I’m getting from our partners is that people would rather us deliver a top-quality product later than a product that isn’t ready for customers, sooner,” Wascha said. PodTech’s Catherine Girardeau reports.
