This podcast is the first of three parts of a conversation on business continuity with Jan Sysmans, director of marketing for WebEx. Jan says that traditionally, when employees can’t get to the office due to traffic, weather, or health, companies write these productivity impacts off as a cost of doing business.

However, tools exist that not only make employees more productive on a day-to-day basis, but also can make unplanned business disruptions less, well, disruptive. In this first part Jan explains the scope of what kinds of things can happen, and how using WebEx to telework can significantly reduce the pain of these unforseen occurances.
