San Jose, Calif- Nora McDevitt sat down with the 2007 Accenture Economic Development Laureate for the Tech Museum Awards, Anil Chitraker from Nepal. Anil Chitraker is with the Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness which harnessed Nepal’s 300 annual days of sun into a safer light source and an economic opportunity by developing a solar-powered lamp and water filtration system. The organization offers micro-financing and training for people to make, sell, and service the lamps and water filtration.
