Inspired by an Oakley backpack, the Hyundai Hellion inspires passion in a 3-door, AWD, crossover SUV with its aggressive exterior, wide stance, piercing headlights angled towards its dominant grille, prominent scoop on the clamshell hood, and customizable, removable canvas roof panels. During the Chicago Auto Show, I spoke with Hyundai‘s chief designer, Joel Pieskowski about the eco-friendly concept car, complete with a V-6 common rail diesel engine (CRDi), hydration packs, cantilevered taillights and seating for four.
