No gas, no noise. Zero emissions. Just plug it in and go. That’s the promise of ZAP (Zero Air Pollution) cars. These are 100 percent electric vehicles that can be charged at your home or office using a standard outlet. The ZAP Xebra has a range of 40 miles with a top speed of 40 mph, on a single charge, for city driving or neighborhood commutes. Other vehicles coming out are able to travel over 200 miles per charge. In Los Angeles, Little Radio EV is the sole distributor of these cars and trucks. Little Radio EV’s Dan Goshin spoke with PodTech’s Matt Kelly at the L.A. Auto Show, about these cars, priced under $10,000.
