Can the good times roll in the M&A world from 2006 through 2008? Were those good times at all? At The Deal’s “M&A Outlook 2008” in New York, investment experts picked apart the market to explore which deals worked and which didn’t… and more importantly, what will carry over into next year. While few panelists at the conference agreed how to describe the megadeals of 2006 — bubble, rocket, etc. — most everyone looks forward to normalcy in 2008. PodTech’s Jason Lopez attended the conference and chatted with panel moderator Gergory Peterson, partner with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
