Topix, the world’s largest news community website, recently unveiled its new webpage that allows users to find, report and edit local news. Topix hopes its focus on local news will help fill a niche ignored by many traditional news outlets. To commemorate Topix’s revamped site, PodTech’s Rio Pesino traveled around San Francisco and attended the Web 2.0 Expo asking journalists, bloggers, and locals what is missing from local news.
